David Crigger Celebrates Two Years with Center in January
The Center would like to congratulate David Crigger, who recently celebrated his second anniversary as a Billing Specialist. Thank you for all of your hard work, David!
As the Billing Specialist, David is responsible for a wide array of tasks needed to secure Center reimbursement from insurance companies, in-center industrial clients and a variety of other entities that provide payment for Center clientele.
Although he appreciates the satisfaction of finally getting a difficult hearing aid claim paid, David said the best thing about working at the Center is the staff. “The Center staff make the job worthwhile,” he explained, “You’ll never find a kinder group of people sharing a common interest and positive working environment.”
Prior to joining the Center staff, David enjoyed attending the Center’s annual fundraising gala as a supporter and donor. His personal connection to the hard of hearing community is the Tinnitus constant ringing in his ears that he developed as a war veteran working near helicopter gunfire.
In his free time, David enjoys carpentry, gardening and riding a bike when the weather is nice. He is very interested in scientific discussions, particularly environmental conservation and sustainable food and energy resources for our growing population.
Founded in 1920 in St. Louis, the Center for Hearing & Speech is a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization and a proud member of the United Way, which provides major funding. The Center’s primary goal is to identify, treat and help St. Louisans with communications disorders by offering speech/language and audiology services to children and adults, regardless of whether they have insurance and/or financial resources to afford such care.
