Center Welcomes 2016 With $99,825 in New Grants & Donations
The Center is pleased to announce the receipt of $99,825 in grants and private donations in the last quarter of 2015, with three gifts earmarked to fund Center programs in 2016.
The following funding will help to support the Center’s Audiology programs:
Jefferson Memorial Community Foundation - $37,000
Greater St. Louis Health Foundation - $15,825
Kahn Foundation of Temple Israel - $10,000
Enterprise Holdings Foundation - $4,500
The following funding will help to support the Center’s Speech-Language programs:
Bland Family Foundation - $16,000
Allen P. & Josephine B. Green Foundation - $6,500
The following funding will help to support the Center’s School Screening programs:
Webb Foundation - $5,000
Boeing Employee Community Fund - $4,000
Sidener Foundation - $1,000
Founded in 1920 in St. Louis, the Center for Hearing & Speech is a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization and a proud member of the United Way, which provides major funding. The Center’s primary goal is to identify, treat and help St. Louisans with communications disorders by offering speech/language and audiology services to children and adults, regardless of whether they have insurance and/or financial resources to afford such care.
