Center Now Accepting Recurring Electronic Donations

The Center for Hearing & Speech introduced its new Monthly Giving Program (MGP) earlier this year, an electronic monthly donation program that is convenient and saves time for donors, as well as provides uninterrupted financial assistance to clients all year long.

The Center currently accepts financial contributions made by cash, check, electronic funds transfer or credit card.  To become a member of the new MGP, donors can contribute at least $10 a month automatically through their checking account, electronic bill pay or credit/debit card. Those donating between $500 and $999 within a calendar year automatically become members in the Center’s new Advocate Society.

“This is a fantastic, easy way to feel great knowing that you’re making a difference in someone’s life each and every month,” said Jeff Tarr, the Center’s development director. “And you’re helping the Center achieve its mission by serving more people in the St. Louis area who are struggling with hearing and speech disorders. What a great win-win scenario!”

In addition to the MGP, the Center’s website offers several other ways that private and corporate donors can support the Center’s hearing and speech -language programs and receive a tax deduction. Visit the Center’s website at

The Tribute Program enables the Center to honor family and friends during times of celebration or as expressions of sympathy.

The Employer Matching Gifts Program enables employees and companies to work together to double the size of their donation to the Center.

Planned Giving includes gifts to the Center through a will, charitable gift annuities, gifts of life insurance, and charitable trusts.

The Schnucks eScrip & AmazonSmile programs enable these vendors to turn every dollar a donor spends into a donation to the Center.
